The highly anticipated Album 75: The Best Is Yet to Come begins airing on the Club tomorrow July 13, with new episodes dropping each Thursday until August 17th. It will air on the radio and release on CD this fall. be sure to PRE-ORDER your copy to support the ministry.

Just to let the community know, the AIOWiki Podcast #8 has been sitting around waiting to be produced, and when the time comes, it will be. The producer has not put a lot of effort in getting it released quickly, but he is planning to do so this weekend. If that does not happen, another update will be published correcting this one. It was mentioned that #8 was going to be an outtake reel; this idea has been shelved. In the meantime, #9 is being slowly brainstormed. Merry Christmas from AIOWiki!

Four days ago, Album #61: Without a Hitch was released on CD! You can buy it here. As mentioned previously, its episodes will be airing through November and can be heard weekly on Focus on the Family’s media player. Also released on October 1st: #798: “A Forgiving Heart”! It adds to the story started in #794: “Things Not Seen”, and can be heard exclusively on the Odyssey Adventure Club. Today we're please to tell you that the final air dates for the radio broadcast of Album 61 have been announced. Earlier we told you that it would begin airing on November 5th, 2016, instead you will actually be able to tune in to hear the newest adventures a week earlier beginning with The Feud of Mason County on October 29th and concluding with a two part episode ending on December 3rd, (title not announced here for spoiler reasons).

It's been quiet on the news front of AIO lately, but there's been a storm of activity today with 3 new products coming out.
First up is Album 59, the title will be Taking the Plunge, we can assume that this will pick up right from where 58 left off. The hard copy is currently due for release in August 2015, with digital and radio releases probably coming shortly before that. Something new with 59 though is that it will only contain 2 CD's instead of the usual 4, meaning that this album will most likely only have 6 episodes instead of 12. It remains to be seen if Album 60 will follow this format in 2016 or if it will be pushed up to make up for the shortened 59 season.
Next up is the first new sampler album in a while, it's based on The Dropbox episode from the OAC and also includes The Chosen One, Part 1 and Part 2. That's interesting because The Chosen One has already been in a sampler album. The sampler is due for release in March and currently does not have a cover image.
Lastly is a new book based on the Jones and Parker detective agency.

- A new listing of characters. Now in an easy to read format, you can browse through character pages alphabetically and by number of episode appearances. Click here to browse.
- Episode timelines. On album pages, lists of episodes are now displayed in a timeline format. Timelines have also been added to other pages with episode lists, including B-TV and KYDS Radio. In addition, you can click here to create an episode timeline for your favorite character!
- A random quote generator. The random quote on our homepage has proven to be a popular feature, so we have expanded that offering by creating a random quote generator. Click here to access it!
- An expanded list of references. The references section has been further expanded, listing references made to books, movies and television shows on Odyssey. Click here to browse our updated list.
- New cast lists. The "Cast" sections on episode pages now look more modern and are easier to edit. This update has also allowed us to assemble a list of episodes with the most characters.

Album 58 is coming up fast and we finally have the list of episode titles for the album. Similar to Album 53, this album will have episodes titled The Ties that Bind, Part 1 - 14. This will also be the first album to feature more than 12 full length episodes since the Gold Audio series.

We're back, after some unfortunate downtime we're pleased to say that the wiki is back and is once again fully functional. We're also pleased to say that our popular Android app is up again too, even has a few new features to go with it.
Over the course of the past month there's been two new podcasts released, Official Podcast 196 (behind the scenes of the new comic) and Official Podcast 197 (The Bible Network deleted scene), be sure to check them out if you haven't yet.
Also released this month was the new Odyssey Adventure Club exclusive episode Drake the Cosmic Copper, FOTF has also released the long awaited Officer Harley episodes to the OAC. Some of these episodes are available for the first time in over 20 years, we're sure that these will be new for many fans out there. Be sure to check back to the club next week when Mission: Unaccomplished, Part 1 is released, it's one of the last episodes to feature Zach Callison as the voice of Matthew Parker.
There's also been some sad news in the last month, first we've learned that the winning script in the college scholarship writing contest A Jay in the Life will not be produced. While the AIO team enjoyed the originality of the script, it took several characters in directions that conflicted with storylines they had already established. Secondly it's been announced that Brock Eastman will be leaving his job with AIO and taking a new job at Compassion International.
Keep checking back for more news in the days ahead, with the release Album 58: The Ties That Bind getting closer we're sure that details will be popping up soon. On the topic of Album 58, the summary has been released,

We've been waiting a long time for this but at last it's starting to show up in download stores. Amazon is the first to offer the album for download, they're offering it for $17.99 to get the complete album, or only $0.99 for single episodes, a price that can't be beat.
This also leads to the news that you can now download almost all of the AIO episodes from Amazon, the best we can tell is that they've only been available for a week or two. We'll update this post in the future as more download stores start to offer it.

We now have more info on the summer 2013 contest: A.C.T.S., thanks to a press release on the Focus on the Family website.
| “ | Starting in June, the A.C.T.S.! Summer of Service Challenge will encourage kids to complete 12 hours of service over the summer—on their own or with their family or church. Service logs will be available in over 400 participating bookstores throughout the summer, beginning in June. All kids who participate can download a free AIO episode, and kids can also return to stores to collect stickers of favorite Odyssey characters for each hour served.
Webcast Launch Party and Video Contest Kick Off Campaign Adventures in Odyssey is kicking off the campaign via a live launch party webcast on May 22 at 3:30 p.m. MT/5:30 p.m. ET that will include the big reveal of the contest’s grand prize trip location. Two of the show’s actors, Chris Anthony and Katie Leigh, will also talk about their favorite AIO episodes. Viewers can watch the webcast online at whitsend.org/acts. From July 1 – Aug. 16, kids ages 8-15 can also enter the A.C.T.S.! video contest by submitting a two-minute video that shares how they serve and why they would like to be one of the first official Adventures in Odyssey Ambassadors. Many participating stores are hosting special recording events, and kids who record their video in stores will receive an AIO prize. An updated list of participating stores and video upload instructions can be found on whitsend.org/acts. From the videos received, 100 third place winners will be selected to win a $25 Adventures in Odyssey product prize. Of those, 24 finalists (12 boys and 12 girls) will have their videos posted for online voting from Sept. 1-15, and two grand prize winners (one boy and one girl) will be announced on Sept. 25 through an AIO webcast. The grand prize winners will receive an all-expense paid Good-Goers Adventure-Based Mission Trip with a parent to serve orphans and enjoy a day of rafting in an overseas location. Odyssey Club Producer

We've recently learned that a new position on the Odyssey team titled 'Odyssey Club Producer' has recently been filled. Here's the job description from the job posting.
| “ | The Odyssey Club Producer position exists to organize and coordinate various media development teams ensuring that audio, video, print, web, events, activities, and games combine into cohesive, engaging club member experiences, The Producer needs to have demonstrated abilities across several disciplines, including web development and upkeep, mission organization, relationship, graphic design, process management ect. | ” |
Some of the job responsibilities include working with the A.C.T.S. contest, keeping the website up to date, and working with the Executive Producer (Dave Arnold) to brainstorm and develop story lines for cub dramas and developing video documentaries.
From the sound of it there will be some sort of Official online Odyssey Club, this may be in response the the large number of fans that aren't allowed on Facebook. This club will also have dramas, although it's unknown at this time if it will be officially produced dramas or just scripts posted online for club members to preform with their friends. The official Facebook page has been teasing something big coming this fall, this could be what they are hinting towards.
We also believe to know who has been given the position, Brock Eastman, as it's been confirmed that he recently accepted a job as some sort of producer with the Odyssey team. Keep checking back in the coming weeks for more information as it becomes available.

The final three episodes for Album 57 are being recorded at the final recording session in Burbank, California on March 25th. Some actors at the recording session include Andre Stojka, Katie Leigh, Zach Callison, and Cristina Pucelli, Will Ryan, Jess Harnell, and Gregg Bissonette. Nathan Hoobler is also one of the directors, and Nathan Jones is one of the sound designers.
We have now also learned that recording for Album 58 will start this summer according to the AIO Facebook Page.

Album 57 Art

The art for the upcoming Album 57 has been revealed. The art features Connie Kendall sitting on the floor surrounded by family pictures, this is most likely a scene from the three part Life Expectancy episode. Album 57 is expected to be released for download in August with the hard copy following soon after.
In other news the cover art for The Marus Manuscripts: Volume 2 has also been released, this book will also be available in August of this year.

We have some news today for you about the upcoming Album 57: recording for the album will start in January 2013. Going by past albums that have been recorded in January, 57 will most likely come out in late summer or early fall; however, that is not confirmed. It is also unknown whether anything (new or otherwise) will be airing next spring in its place. We have also learned that the winner of the Get in the Show contest will indeed be in Album 57 instead of the previously stated Album 58.

There's also been a fair amount of news from the Imagination Station book series that we haven't reported.
First up is book 8 Battle for Cannibal Island. As some of you may notice this is a new title, it was formally "Battle for the Mysterious Island" and before that "Mystery of Starlight Island", this third title will likely stick though as it's nearing release. The cover has also been updated with the new title and slightly revised art. Here's the summary for the book

New Imagination Station Books

The next two books in the Imagination Station book series now have titles, first up book 10, is titled Challenge on the Hill of Fire and is written by Brock Eastman and Marianne Hering. Book 11 is titled Hunt for the Devil's Dragon and is written by Wayne Thomas Batson and Marianne Hering. Both of these books are due for release in the spring of next year.

There's a couple of new AIO products in the works coming out later this year.
First is the Silver Celebration collection, we originally announced it as Platinum Collection 2 but it's been renamed, we now have the art for it and know that it will be released this Fall with 36 of the producers favorite episodes.
Next up is the 90 Day Devotional, coming in October this book will contain 13 weeks of devotions that reference AIO dramas, and an activity, puzzle, or game to reinforce the core biblical truths.
Last but not least is the followup to the Official Guide, The Second Official Guide will also be available for purchase in October and will contain behind the scenes info on everything from Album 1 - Album 56 and much more.

Back in November Katie Leigh visited Taylor University and gave a talk about how she became a voice actress, working on Adventures in Odyssey, God's work in her life and more.
In other news we've recently upgraded our site again, things should load faster, our sign up processes has been greatly simplified, our comment system is working properly again so you can easily see how many comments there are on a news post. We have a new free episode to enjoy over the holidays, this time FOTF is releasing Grandma's Christmas Visit as a free download, and unlike some of the past free episodes this one isn't limited to people in the States. You can see a list of all currently available episodes here, you can also use our Audio Player to listen to all of the currently airing episodes along with the free episodes and all of the Official podcasts.
On the topic of our Audio Player we've been hard at work behind the scenes trying to make it faster. In our latest version of our player the episodes for listening load in about a fifth of the time of when we first released it, letting you listen to Adventures in Odyssey faster than ever before. We've also fixed a bug with the playlist feature that would add the wrong episode under certain circumstances. Stay tuned for more updates on our player in the near future.

Thanks to the Adventures in Odyssey ScoopCast we now know 3 more titles of episodes from Album 55, they are To Mend or Repair, Child’s Play, and Mistaken for Good. We don't know anything about these episodes yet, but keep checking back in the days ahead to find out their descriptions and the title of the last episode in the upcoming album.

In our last poll we asked you what episode you were most looking forward to in Album 54, it was a close race between Unbecoming Jay and How to Sink a Sub, but in the end How to Sink a Sub came out with a 3% lead. Album 8 Repack

Today we're pleased to show you the new cover for the upcoming repack of Album 8, it features the same art work as the original gold release but with rays like the current releases. It's expected to appear in stores early next year. We have a number of smaller updates for you today, here they are in no particular order:
- Album 54 has been spotted in stores by fans be sure to check your local book store if you're looking to pick up a copy. Online orders should be shipping soon.
- Similarly The Blackgaard Chronicles is also now available.
- The October airing schedule is now posted.
- We've learned that there will be a sequel to the Platinum Collection that was released for the 20th Anniversary, it's expected to come out sometime in 2012. We don't know which episodes or even how many will be included but we'll be sure to fill you in on all the details as they become available.

It's a slight departure from the first 6 books with the blue rays being replaced with green ones, but it's still easily recognizable as being from the same series. Album 54 Back Art and Scholarship contest

Today we're pleased to share the back of the upcoming Album 54 with you, the back features Wooton along with the typical summary of what AIO is and what album 54 is all about. You can check out the high-res version by clicking on the preview.
In other news Focus on the Family has launched their new writing scholarship contest. The contest is open to students currently enrolled in a US college, and they want you to try your hand at writing a script for an episode of AIO. The winning script will be produced next summer and will be included in the 2013 season and Album 58. The writer of the script will also get $1000 towards their college education. The deadline is January 15th, 2012, for full contest rules see the offical page

Yet another repack has been completed! The Odyssey team has released images of the new cover design for Album 29: Signed, Sealed and Committed today. The front and back covers can be viewed by clicking the images to the right. This leaves only 17 albums left to re-cover.
It is interesting to note that Gary Locke, the artist who illustrates the album covers, will soon have his art on all of Odyssey's albums. Once Album 24, 26, and 34 have their new covers, it will be official.

Album Repacks

There's been some images and rumours floating around different sites lately that we'd like to try and clear up.
- First of all some people have been saying that the new logo will be appearing on all future repacks. This is not correct, the new logo will only be used for albums 51 and newer while the old logo will be used on all the repacks of Albums 1-50.
- Secondly some people think that the final covers for the upcoming set of repacks have been released. This is also not true, currently the following cover art images have been released but they are still needing the title, logo and rays.
Also, we've confirmed that Album 2 will be getting a new title, Brock Eastman has welcomed fans to venture a guess at the new title on his facebook page.

There's a number of news items today, first up is the next edition of the official guide.
The last edition of the official guide came out in August 2008 for the 20th anniversary, next year is the 25th anniversary and they're planning to release an updated version, you can help them decide what to put in it by telling them here.
Next up is the new Imagination Station site, it's been updated with family activities, devotionals, and a parents page for books 1 and 2, books 3 and 4 meanwhile have been posted and have the secret word bonus content up.

Today, we have our first look at the cover of the upcoming release of The Fight for Kidsboro! The cover illustration of this book was done by the artist for the audio series, Gary Locke. Also, we now know that when this book becomes available this September, fans can purchase it in both print and e-book formats.

On to the topic of Album 55 yesterday Brock posted an update on the AIO facebook page saying that if we can get 100 people to like it he'll release some new info about 55. Right now we're just under half way, so if you haven't done that yet, go over and do it now! Don't forget to tell your friends about it too.
Also, yesterday, Audio Theater Central released a new podcast. In it they revealed that due to a last minute change at FOTF, Album 54 will now contain 3 episodes that follow up directly from where 53 left off. On the topic of albums 54 and 55, we've made a new page here called future which contains everything we know about what's coming up for the radio show.

Earlier this week we brought you news of the upcoming Album 54 and the Blackgaard Chronicles and today we're bringing you news on three upcoming AIO books.
First is the summary for Showdown with the Shepherd:

The new covers for Draven's Defiance and Fendar's Legacy have been released today, you can see them on the books pages or to the right. They're currently scheduled to be released in Spring 2011. Focus on the Family produces content based on what sells well, so if these two books along with the other books and audio in the Passages series have good sales they may produce more.
While you're waiting for these two books to come out you can check out the The Imagination Station Series. There's currently 2 books out in the series with 2 coming out next spring and plans for at least 4 more after that. Focus is hoping that this series will be as long running as the audio series is, so if you like the books get them, it's the best way to ensure more are made. We have a few new tidbits on Album 53 today, just a reminder that this is all subject to change and none of this will be confirmed until spring when it's on the radio and in stores.
First it seems that the theme for the 12 part episode will be on "Recognizing deception". Also it seems that the album will included a behind-the-scenes video of the actors in the studio creating this unique collection. Lastly there's a slightly different summary for the album out now.

The summary for the upcoming book in the Imagination Station series has been released:

Imagination Station books and Airing Schedule

A couple of updates on the Imagination Station books today, the covers for both book 3 and 4 have been released, you can see them to the right. It seems that book 3 has been renamed from The Kahn's Golden Tablet to Peril in the Palace. The summary for book 4 isn't available yet but we'll let you know when it is. Both books will be released in May of 2011. We've also added a link in our sidebar for quick access to this series.
In other news the airing schedule for January has been released, it seems that on the weekends we'll be having an recap of Album 51 and 52 in the lead up to the exciting 12 part saga in Album 53.

Today we have the the new cover for Album 01 to add to the two covers released yesterday. The updated album should be available in stores sometime next year.

The covers for the re-release of Album 5 and Passages: Darien's Rise have been released, you can see them both to the right. The new Passages cover brings it in line to look more like the current Album 51 and 52 covers. The new cover for 5 drops the gold foil and replaces it with a red splash to bring it inline with the current design of 1-50, it's only a small preview right now but we'll update you once the full version become available.
Also, the new copies of Passages 3 and 4 have arrived at FOTF so you should start seeing them in stores near you soon.
