Description

American history is one thrilling encounter after another when you experience these 12 timeless Adventures in Odyssey episodes! You‘ll join Paul Revere on his famous midnight ride... meet President Abraham Lincoln as the United States is being torn in two... escape with runaway slaves on the secret Underground Railroad... and witness how "The Star-Spangled Banner" was composed on a battlefield by dawn's early light.

For God and Country is a special patriotic album. Featuring 12 episodes on 4 CD's, this album contains a selection of history episodes from Adventures in Odyssey, with several newer ones sprinkled in.

Although it is not part of the mainstream audio series, For God and Country is a more current beginners' release. This package was produced to somewhat replace the classics album, Star Spangled Stories. However, the episode listing is slightly altered from the original.

Notes

This album was taken to the International Space Station by astronaut Terry Virts on February 8, 2010. He spoke about his career and his fascinating experiences on a recent mission to the International Space Station aboard the space shuttle Endeavor on Focus's May 14, 2010 Daily Broadcast.

Some of the releases, do not have 402: Arizona Sunrise instead they contain 209: Columbus: The Grand Voyage.
