I'm new

I'm new here and would like to know how to use this better, like how to use Talk and stuff like that. I don't know what this will do, but if you see this and you know how to work this website please message me. L (talk)

Well, it appears that you have gotten the hang of posting on a talk page. Basically, for your general everyday stuff, if you see something incorrect on a page and want to fix it (be it grammar, spelling, factuel, or simply want to add info, just click the edit tab and make your changes. Afterwards, when you click save page your corrections will be saved. My best advice is to explore a little, if you make an error and don't know how to fix it, an administrator would be happy to help. Hi L! I saw you wrote on Shadowpaw's user talk where you asked how to make words colourful. I took that as "how do I link pages to words?". So here's how: All you need to do is put before something you want to link, then put after the word. Example: If I wanted to link the AIO episode "Hindsight" from your page to the episode, I'd put and after the word. Hindsight. Go to editing this page to see how I linked it. Hope this helps! PS on talk pages it is better not to fix the spelling and grammar mistakes of others. It is kind of changing history (if you know what I mean. :) On any page, other than user pages, fix anything and everything you see wrong. Signature

First step to make a custom signature, is to make a page with your signature the way you want it to look. Here is a like to a spot where you can make a new page for your signature. User:L/sig Then the second part, on your user preferences page in the signature category. Check the check box for "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)" then put this in the "New signature:" box {{SUBST:User:L/sig}}

Have a look at how others have made their signature page. User:Aiow/signature, User:Sunnys/sig, User:Eugene/Signature Eugene's is the best example. Aiow 09:35, 4 October 2013 (MDT)

PS when commenting use ~~~~. That is found in the upper left hand corner of your keyboard. It will leave a timestamp because when you just sign it [[L]] it is a blank like to a page called L, whereas the tildes live a link to your user page and talk page. Your character image section links

I'm assuming that in your sections with pics of Jason and Whit, you want the titles to link to their bios, right? The reason it isn't working properly is that instead of [[Jason Whittaker]], you have {{Jason Whittaker}}. The { signs refer to templates, while the [ signs create links. Scroll down your page. You have a section titled Pictures of Template:Mr. Whittaker and another one titled Pictures of Template:Jason Whittaker. Tbh, I completely forget where we were this. I do remember trying to look into polls and not being about to figure it out. Well, if you are talking about redirecting pages, click "Advanced" on the tool bar above your editing thing, and click on the arrow next to the postcard-looking thing. BTW, if you respond to people's questions, it's nice to put "Re:" before your Subject. In this instance, it would be nice to put "Re:L". Sorry if it seems like I'm being like "No! You have to do this, not this!", I know you're relatively new here, I am just trying to help. I remember when I first started editing, I didn't really get things. I saw your question on User talk:Reddo, and yes that was okay to edit. Now in a "real" quote on an episode page, we try to say as true to what the actual character said, even if they used improper grammar. Your favorite websites link error

RE:Eugene clip art

I know my picture is a duplicate, but the other one is so small and difficult to see. Is it really necessary to delete it? By the way, am I sending you this message the same way you sent yours?

Several characters have a "clipart" picture, but they're all little like Eugene's. These characters are Connie Kendall, Dr. Regis Blackgaard, Edwin Blackgaard, Walter Shakespeare, Harlow Doyle, Joanne Allen, Whit, and Lucy Cunningham-Schultz.

Because there is no viable usage for L. If it was User:L, then yes but it should never be used by itself when referred to the user (you).
