Wanting to Help

While I'm going through the eposides to put in the ; Trivia and Goofs and add quotes that I can find I thought I would move the resource section to the sidebar. Kill two birds with one stone. So, how do you move it to the sidebar or is it just for bots. Stop Wooton Around 16:05, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Copywrited material

Are we still not supposed to submit copywrited material? I noticed that the request not to do that at the bottom of the page is no longer there. Does this mean we can input all of the Official Guide into the wiki?

Opps....Okay so I'm one moth late. And if that's not correct than you'll have to explain what that template is saying.
Anyways... when you're editing a page you see this text above the below the editing box: Please note that all contributions to Adventures in Odyssey Wiki may be edited, altered, or removed by other contributors. If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then do not submit it here. It use to include something that went like this: PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT COPYWRITED MATERIAL. Since I don't see that text there anymore apparently it has been taken out. Does that mean that the rule about copywrited material doesn't apply anymore? Can we submit copywrited material? I've got a few questions. First, on the Community portal under episode pages one task is: Make sure summary section is a SHORT 1-2 sentence summary of the episode. I disagree with this but I what is your thought. Second, what is the Odyssey Gazette thing. Third, if a talk page starts with Adventures in Odyssey Wiki like: Adventures in Odyssey Wiki Talk: Adminis. I will be going back to school on August 13 when do you go back. Is it just me or is there more people working on the wiki? Speaking of working on the wiki I better go clean out wanted categories again then go through the episodes like I've been doing. Standards

I've noticed that some people have asked about stub standards. I was wondering if I could make standards. Look at wiki and the pages on it which I would use the same thing only adapt for our means. So there would be like: Character Standards, Book Standards, etc... If you agree then I will do them and you can change them as need be. Stop Wooton Around 18:22, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

inappropriate usernames

I want you to do things a little differently with inappropriate usernames, first when you block them check the first 4 checkboxes, this way all traces of their account are removed, even from things like the user list, next delete the userpage that they created using suppression (i gave you the right this morning, i only use it for inapporpriate page names so that the don't appear in deleted pages or in recent changes), lastly, don't create a talk page for them. i want this wiki to be as clean as possible including obscure user talk page name. thanks if you have any questions let me know Reddo 18:04, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Grady!

Why does the iformation box on Grady McKay's character page say that his first episode was Only by his Grace? I can't figure out how to fix it.MarvelousMarvin 23:49, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

fixed it, the problem was with the sort key of the character section, it was 543 instead of 615 Reddo 05:37, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Transcript post

Ok, so, yeah that transcript was a little much. I kinda thought it might be nice, but it makes the page a bit long. Do you think there is any appropriate way/ place for it? Elementus Green 22:13, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Now I see that you have put it on its own page. If I have more, is that what I should do? I really feel like there should be a better format, maybe some kind of template? Having its own page makes sense, because it is so huge. Also, I noticed that the characters template only shows up to ten characters. The characters template can be expanded up to 40, just replace "Infobox_cast_10_characters" with "Infobox_cast_XX_characters", XX being the number of character. I moved the script onto another page for know, simply because it looked bulky on the main episode page. We once expiremented with scripts on the episode page (ie File:Suspicious Minds.pdf), but we never di much with it. If you have a good idea, may be we can implement it. I asked Focus about putting transcripts from episodes up a while back and Nathan said that due to licensing restrictions we can't, so although I think it is a good idea we'll have to stick with only those 15 pdf's that were officially released, I've deleted the transcript for now Reddo 02:31, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

So on Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 1, Dave Arnold says "So let's get started with: Darien's Rise, the Chronicle of the Chosen". Darian's Rise airdates

In the information box of Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 1 it sais that the episode is unaired. Is it okay to go ahead and change that to September 19, 2009? MarvelousMarvin 07:56, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Character Pages

Could you have erwinbot go through all the one time characters and replace {{stub}} with {{stub|character}}? It would just cut the number of stubs in half. What other articles are in the stubs category that could have their own category? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 04:35, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Reverting Edits

Hi Erwin!

I have another question! Is reverting edits the same as udoing a revision? I'm pretty sure that if you undo an edit (such as one that is vandlism), someone can still go back into the pages history and view the graffitied form of the revision. Where as if you revert an edit, it can never be seen again. Am I right?

Also . . . when was I given the privilidge and the ability to move pages? It's a little strange having that option up there at the top of the page! I thought only the administrators could move pages. (And I am certainly not one of those!) Am I right?

Logo Contest

Um, Erwin, I like your logo, but you forgot the rule that said you must have a transparent background on your logo. AIOCREFan 12:29, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

it is transparent, but it's just all being used, what we don't want is a lot of extra white surrounding the logo, as that creates hard edges and doesn't look very good, his one is fineReddo 16:58, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
