History

Shammah was one of three of Jesse's sons to go to war against the Philistines. Like the rest of King Saul's army, he was afraid of Goliath. His brother King David would go on to kill Goliath.

Family

Shammah has seven brothers three of which are named, David, Eliab, and Abinadab. Jesse is the father of Shammah.
