Categories

ALL character pages's stats are automatically pulled from categories, which are automatically created from episode pages, so when I moved that page, I had to change all of the episodes that he appears in. 13 members, refers to the number of pages in it, which were put in there when I changed the episode pages. A few things

It is a tricky process to moving episode and or album pages, as it makes templates not work, so I've reverted, as they already fit the names we had. Also, don't use (&) in page names, as it causes the pages to work wrong. Also when creating categories, please use the templates, instead of text. If you go into prefrences, go to gadgets and enable category buuttons, then clear your cashe, and it will help you. Erwin Springer [talk] 23:38, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

characters

When you move character pages you have to change the cast section of EVERY episode page that that character is in. So I would not recommend moving character pages unless necessary. Erwin Springer [talk]

bible verses

The bible verses are currently being redone with a new system and only th pages can be made by sysops because they will know be entire books of the bible and the translation is under copyright. (lame if you ask me) Erwin Springer [talk] 17:43, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Sorry I hadn't explained earlier. Just because we aren't using them, doesn't mean we wont. For example, some of the logos are used for refrence purposes during the logo contest. Re: Help

There are no set rules for becoming a sysop. Basically you need to be pretty active and trustworthy. Once you prove that to Reddo he might promote you. The difference here from other wikis though is that you can have your administrative privilege taken away. And yes anyone can become an administrator, but if you vandalize (not saying you will) than you will get them taken away. Personally, I would say that if you want to become an admin, wait a little while and let Reddo notice you and then request it. After that, he'll wait a while and carefully watch you and your edits. Then, he'll most likely promote you.
And what redirects are you referring to?
The only Bureaucrats here are Reddo, Spiderman, and Shadowpaw. Shadowpaw is no longer active, simply because he runs the Soda Fountain and is busy with his job. Spiderman is still active but not super often. I am not sure why he became a Bureaucrat. Reddo has access to the server so I assume that he is friends with Shadowpaw. I imagine that they started it and Shadowpaw passed the baton to Reddo. (correct me if I'm wrong Reddo) As far as I know, there are not too many more things that you can do as a Bureaucrat, besides promote people to Admins. Erwin Springer is very active simply because, like you, he is very young. He has less on his plate than me, Reddo or Spiderman. God Bless ~ Natedude24~ My Talk 03:05, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Just a few minor notes, Spiderman became a bureaucrat as he used to be very very active on the wiki and I didn't feel comfortable being the only bureaucrat on the wiki (what if something happened to me?).

Shadowpaw originally started the wiki in srping 07 with the intent of taking care of the server side of things with Blipadouzi taking care of admins things, design and templates. I became fairly involved with the wiki in fall 07 and suggested more efficient ways to display data and make it easier to edit. Shortyl after this Blipadouzi became busy with real life things and suggested that I take over his position. Then in summer 08 Shadowpaw asked me to take over the server side of things for him. Since then I've been more taking care of the backend of things and letting the users of the wiki take care of how they want things to go. But I still stop in a couple of times a day and see what's going onReddo 04:42, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

No. That is the point of redirects. So that if I am (eg.) writing a quote, and if I just type Wooton, than it will automatically take me to the proper page. Redirect pages take up very little space, so I see no need to delete them. However things like "Wooton:" are pointless. I will delete it unless you disagree. Yeah. The Template:Natedude24sig was a mistake on my part. It is no longer needed but when I put it as my signature, it still shows up as "Temaplate:Natedude24sig". I just haven't taken the time to delete all of the places that I put it. God Bless ~ Natedude24~ My Talk 15:55, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Why can't you make bible verses pages? By the way, if you start making bible verses, I have been putting the first paragraph if its really long. Then just putting ([[bible:{{BASEPAGENAME}}|more]]), which will take you to the right verse on the Bible Gateway site.

Umm so, the bible verses in the wanted pages are the old format. If you want to help, look at this chart and pick a book of the bible and reformat it like this. 1. It means the summary section not the plot section. You may be confused.
2. A few users, (which may be the same ip) are trying do something. I figure just let them do they're thing na dodn't get invloved unless th page needs to be moved because pages with a blank namespace are reserved for articles

Birthday Template; reply

Hello Stop Wooton Around. Nice to meet you!

By the way thanks for the message(I enjoy getting new messages!).

Now to the point; I'm not really sure whether or not I want to have the birthday template. I've always been told that one sould be carefull about giving out personal information, especially on the internet. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind having my birthday posted on there. I'm just not really sure what the point would be. I mean, I don't really nead it on there and I am doubtful that anyone would tell me happy birthday anyway. So- since you are obviously smarter than myself and more knowledgable on how to use computers and wikis, I'm curiuss- what do you think I sould do?

P.S. Can you guess what my birthday is? : )

Okay so now we are done. I have received another tie, an assortment of candy (including starburst), a piano book, a dress shirt, Eugene Sings! Christmas, and Vol. 15-A Place of Wonder. Plus, one of my brothers got an Odyssey album yesterday (it was Vol. 46-A Date With Dad, but he might return it for a different album) and he got Vol. 11-It's Another Fine Day today. And Plus my brothers and i also received The Truth Chronicles today as well, so our Odyssey collection is getting quite well stocked. I'll stop harping on now. What's your favorite Christmas Odyssey episode? What's your favorite part about Christmas? Is there one special Christmas memory that you have?
