Time in Odyssey: When does it happen?
I love details. Have you ever heard anyone say that Odyssey is in its own timezone? That you can't tell when things happen there? That Connie has been 16 forever? I certainly have. That's anoying isn't it? But did you know that there is a way to make time in Odyssey make sense? That's right. Even though the Odyssey team did not intend it to be this way, it still makes sense if you line it up correctly. Still not convinced? Wait and see. I believe that the orignal Odyssey team intended Odyssey to be real time. This is simply because time refereces back then were more time constraining and specific. Also, because they would air a christmas episode every year. They don't do that now. So, if you start back in 1987 and count every christmas episode you will find out that they have only reached 2002 in Odyssey. SOOOOo... Mr. Whitakker is not as old as we thought. With this, you can also roughly find out the ages of several characters such as Connie, Eugene, and several others. You will also find out that Everet Meltsner was born in 1992, and that his mother Thelma Meltsner died at the beginning of 1998. Much mare trivia can be found. True, Connie still spent a long time in high school, but not as long as we thought. True some episodes must be reordered in how they fit together, but that just makes it make more sense. I hope some of you put this to the test. I will try and post some of my findings here at a later time. Enjoy! MarvelousMarvin 01:00, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! Perhaps I know you from the ToO? Erwin Springer [talk] 12:23, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- If you put your email on here, it will only be used for the email form if you activate on the email that is sent to you when you put it in. If a user decides to email you, they can fill out that form to reach you. On the ToO, the email address is only used to activate. You have the option to put out there so a user can email you, but you can leave it hidden, where no one can see it. (except Admintsrators on the ToO, which is only three people :) Erwin Springer [talk] 14:16, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

- It's also not my birthday today ;) Erwin Springer [talk] 15:40, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- As for the birthday template:
14 years, 0 months, and 30 days old
- Is what it says. I think Reddo told me that we are not wikipedia. We're just an AIO fan site, so I think if like the Odyssey Scoop wouldn't post it, we shouldn't it. I also removed the text. Erwin Springer [talk] 17:52, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- If you mean published works, then sort of. What I'm saying is that we can't type up the Official Guide and put it out there, but we I think we can put the trivia on episode pages as 99% of it has been released before. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:20, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Reverting Edits
I believe that "undoing" and "reverting" are the exact same thing. When we upgraded to MediaWiki 1.15.1, it changed from "revert" to "undo". So no, there is no difference, and the history of a page will always be there. I think that there's a way to delete past edits, but I do not know how.
Regarding your other question, anyone with a registered account can move pages. So you were "given the privilidge and the ability to move pages" when you created an account. :)
As you can see, I'm not Erwin Springer, I just thought I'd try and answer your questions. :) God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 15:08, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Reverting takes one click, undoing takes two, and only sysops can revert...You are given the right to move pages automatically on the third day after registration. Erwin Springer [talk] 21:36, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- How do you revert then? I created an account this morning and it let me move pages as soon as I made it. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 22:03, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oops, I got that slightly mixed up. Rollbacking takes one click and only can be done by sysops. As for moving, I'm not sure how long until users here become autoconfirmed, I just guessed three days. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:35, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
- Anyone can be given the ability to rollback pages, without actually having an administrative account. You'd just have to ask Reddo. (who's a bureaucrat) So I guess rollbacking is just a quicker way to undo edits. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 03:36, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
- But if someone has the ability to rollback edits does that mean they also have the ability to block user ip addresses? MarvelousMarvin 23:12, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Spam
So when we receive spam to pages, please do not replace the information with {{delete}}. Yes it does need to be deleted, but not because it "does not fit with current article standards". Either Reddo or I will delete the page and block that user, so you don't need to worry about it. Thank you for trying to help though. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 22:23, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- What about when spam is put on a page that already existed? Is is all right if we undue the edit so that the page will appear in its as it is supposed to? Also, when spam is placed on new pages, do you want us to just balnk the page, or just leave it alone? MarvelousMarvin 12:44, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'd rather you not do anything in either of those instances. Generally we don't get spam on pages that don't exist, but we do sometimes get vandalism and false information. If the information is just a little off, then you can change it, but it it's way off and just nonsense, then I will revert the edits andblock them. When we get spam, we must revert the edits, then block the ip address/user, then tell them that they've been blocked on their talk page. I won't know who to block without looking at the history of a page, so I would say just leave it alone. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 19:02, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Well to see who to block you could just look at the recent changes page, but that is beside the point as I'm not going to be undoing the edits. : ) Sorry for the trouble! MarvelousMarvin 20:49, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Merry Christmas
Well, I find you are the only person currently on here. So, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas, Wooton! MarvelousMarvin 23:56, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
- Merry Christmas! Sorry for not responding sooner, I had to sweep. What did you get for Christmas?
- P.S. I got 3 albums of odyssey: On Thin Ice, The Best Small Town, and The Sky is the Limit. I also got the Official Guide and I love it. Also I got a wallet, watch, two shirts, and a game. Stop Wooton Around 00:25, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

I got a two dress ties, The Moment of Truth, a new pillow (mine was getting rather old), and a 3 by 5 index card saying I'd get another present later. Than my Grandparents came over and gave all my my brothers and I shirts from Brazil (my grandpa travels a lot). And now I am at the same Grandparents with my extended family about to open presents again! Catch you later. Merry Christmas! MarvelousMarvin 21:01, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
- Okay so now we are done. I have received another tie, an assortment of candy (including starburst), a piano book, a dress shirt, Eugene Sings! Christmas, and Vol. 15-A Place of Wonder. Plus, one of my brothers got an Odyssey album yesterday (it was Vol. 46-A Date With Dad, but he might return it for a different album) and he got Vol. 11-It's Another Fine Day today. And Plus my brothers and i also received The Truth Chronicles today as well, so our Odyssey collection is getting quite well stocked. I'll stop harping on now. What's your favorite Christmas Odyssey episode? What's your favorite part about Christmas? Is there one special Christmas memory that you have? (Sounds like a survey I know, but I'm just curious. :) MarvelousMarvin 22:59, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Administrator
Dear MarvelousMarvin,
I was wondering if you were an administer of aiowiki. You sould be if you aren't-you know a lot about AIO. :)
Connielover101 21:20, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Haha! :) Well thanks for the compliment but no, I am not an administrator. You can see a list of all the administrators here. I do not really think that I am qualified to be an administrator. It takes a lot more qualification than just knowing a lot about AIO. Some of those qualifications are:
- You have to know a lot of HTML (that basically means how to write in code), and I don't know that much html.
- You have to have good leadership skills. I don't really think I have those skills as proven by my treatment of you when you first arrived.
- You have to be trustworthy. While I have been on the wiki for about a year and a half, I am not on the ToO or anywhere else. No one has my email address or any thing like that. No one has anyway to contact me other than through here. Since I am not anywhere else in the internet world, I do not think it would be prudent to promote me to an administrator.
- You probably got to have a fast computer and internet, and I don't have either one. I use dial up.
- When you're an administrator people tend to come to you with problems. I don't know how to deal with those problems.
- There is not need for me to be an administrator. When you are an administrator, your only "official" rights are that you can edit pages that are restricted to normal users and that you can ban people who do vandalism. You can also revert that vandalism. Right now there are three administrators who are active and there's really no need for a another one on a wiki as small as this.
- I'm not as qualified as some people like Stop Wooton Around, who are administrators on other wikis.
- Besides, if I were an administrator, who would I admnistrate? Myself? Sometimes there's not very much activity here accept for the administrators, me, and a few other people. So if I became one, there would be occasions where there would be no one to administrate.
- I'm hope that answer's your question. If you have any more don't haitate to ask. MarvelousMarvin 15:52, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi!
I am pleasantly surprised to see you back here at the AIOWiki. I understand you were very instrumental in the construction of this place. It is an honor to meet to you. Welcome back! MarvelousMarvin 05:43, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
- Just wanted to thank you for the kind message. It's very nice to be working on the wiki again. I was anything but instrumental however -- when I was first here it was mainly Blipadouzi and Redekop who were holding down the fort. They'd talk about coding and templates in a language I still don't understand and I'd nod and stick words in an episode template. :D Thanks again, and very nice to meet you! Rachel Maxwell 22:40, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, take it from someone who knows -- coming up with an idea and actually putting it into practice are two entirely different things. I've had a mountain of projects I've wanted to do on the wiki and have never been able to put most of them into practice. Often the legwork of a job is as important if not slightly more important than the actual conception of that idea. I'm sure that Blipadouzi and Reddo are VERY appreciative of the legwork you did for them and this site. So Rachel, don't even try and tell me you weren't instrumental--because you were. And I'm sure they would agree with me. Even though you may not think you were instrumental, you brought your talents and abilities to the team--without which the wiki would not have been built. It's kind of like an orchestra; your instrument may not sound all that good by itself, but when you put it together with the rest of the orchestra it sounds great! In fact, your instrument can't be done without with! (That makes you instrumental :) Pun intended) The same with the two guys--they can't play the piece or build the site all on their own, even though they are very important. It's a team effort. Am I right? MarvelousMarvin 04:49, 19 May 2010 (UTC) P.S. Thank you for responding, Rachel. By the way, I'm curious: why were you gone for so long? College?
- Blip and Reddo have always been incredibly kind. You're right, too, that the wiki wouldn't function as well as it does without everyone who contributes -- yourself included! I was interested, by the way, in your theory that Odyssey is "real time". I'd tried to work out once about how long an album would be if it was all in real time, and decided they would each be about 2 1/2 months. As to why I was gone, it was mainly life in general. :) Very nice to be editing again, but the way things work, once I get the project I'm working on kicked into shape (more or less) I may fade and just patrol again for awhile (I did try to keep up with what was going on). Or I may discover something else that I can do! You never know! Rachel Maxwell 18:01, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
- I have a slight correction to make about my previous statements. I said that it's a team effort; and that a musical piece can't be played alone; and that the website can't be built be built by one person. In a way that was right, but in way that was wrong. The musical piece can definitely not be played alone. But the website CAN be built alone. It just wouldn't be as good. Each person's talents and abilities make it better. So, the wiki could survive without me, it just would be a little different. :) Now, as for the Odyssey time line theory--could you possibly be more specific as to what you're interested in. I could talk about it and study it for a long time. Do you want a sampling of the time line or what specifically? Thanks Rachel! MarvelousMarvin 05:21, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Very true that the wiki could be done by one person -- just not as well. :) The whole time theory is interesting, sort of like "Where is Odyssey"! What's interesting is when it the show is "locked in" to a timeline. Such as the birth of Stewart Reed, or when a character references another episode and gives a time (such as when Eugene says "the grade-changing scandal from two years back"). What makes it complicated is that episodes can overlap. I'd be very interested to see some sort of timeline showing what episodes could overlap. No need for you to study it in depth or anything, but if you happen to be looking into it on your own anyway, I'd be interested to see what you come up with! Rachel Maxwell 05:34, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well, as a matter of fact, I have come up with some stuff already. Here it is:
- We know that AIO as it happens on the radio is not real time. How do we know that? Because of the bridge between "The Imagination Station, Revisited, Part 2" and "The Inspiration Station, Part 1". In the Im.S., R., Kelly says that the new Imagination Station will open the next day. The next day, the new station is open and Whit introduces Connie to the In.S. --STOP-- Aio goes on hiatus for TWO YEARS. When they come back, Connie is in the In.S. for the first time. How do we know it's the first time? Connie says, "What do you call this invention?" She would likely already know the name if she had been in the invention before. So, how can those two days where the new Im.S. is introduced and the In.S. is introduced be two years apart? The answer? They can't be two years apart. AIO can't be real time.
- Also, since the Im.S., R. and the In.S. episodes fall one right after the other, where does "Welcome to Whit's End" fall into the equation?
- Well, you already know my theory about how Odyssey falls into real time. For a sampling of the time line, I'll explain how those events I've mentioned fall into place.
- Day One--Kelly gets into the new Imagination Station in the episode "The Imagination Station, Revisited" while Whit is making last minute changes to the station (most likely having to do with the Imagination Station door). --STOP-- END DAY ONE.
- DAY TWO--MORNING--Eugene makes the final changes to the new Imagination Station program and to the Station itself (again, most likely to do with the door) while Matthew Parker looks on (This was mentioned in the episode "The Inspiration Station"). --MID-MORNING-- Chris takes a tour of the town of Odyssey and Eugene has her test the new Imagination Station door. --ABOUT NOON-- The New Imagination Station opens. --MAYBE TWO HOURS LATER-- Whit introduces Connie to the Inspiration Station. --THE REST OF THE DAY AND THE FOLLOWING DAY-- The events of "The Inspiration Station" take place.
- "What about the Kidsboro episodes?" you may ask. "And Darien's Rise?" "And the Live Show?"
- Well let me explain that. Under my time line theory, the last Christmas in Odyssey took place in the episode "The Undeniable Truth" at the end of Album 47. That would leave Albums 48, 49, 50, The Truth Chronicles, Wecome to Whit's End, Album 51, and part (if not all) of album 52 to happen in the same year. Darien's Rise does not fall into the equation because it was written years ago and could happen any Christmas inparticular. The Live show does not happen in the same year has the rest of those episodes. Why not? Becuase in that show , Jimmy says, "I think [the president] may have mentioned it in last night's State of the Union address." The State of the Union Address happens on January. Meaning that album 50 would have to be crammed into the month of January of that year in order to put the episode in chronological order. Sorry, but that's not going to work. The Live show has to happen in 2003 (We've only come to 2002 according to the Christmases in Odyssey.).
- Now the episodes in these albums would not all happen in this order. That's simply not possible for several reasons, one being that in the episode "Game for a Mystery", Emily Parker says, "It's springtime in Odyssey!"
- I do not yet know if I will be able to reorganize the episodes to make them fit into a year because the year is not yet finished. But if I can, some things should make a lot more sense. For instance, reorganizing the episodes should fade the Parker family in to the show and fade the Washingtions and other characters out, as opposed to everything suddenly changing and characters disappearing and appearing overnight. Reorganizing the episodes will also make the story lines make more sense, instead of them being dragged out for forever amen.
- There was one other year in Odyssey I had to reorganize the episodes for. And it worked! It actually made the episodes make more sense! I still have that list written out on a piece of paper, but i wouldn't be able to explain it very well, as I have not listened to the episodes that I reorganized in a long time.
- I hope this time line sample is a help, or a look onto what it is, or whatever. Did I say the right things? answer you question? not say enough? Let me know.
- On a different note, I normally am not on the computer every day like this to talk with people or edit this place. I was able to be on more this week as my family and I have been on vacation in Branson, MO. So after to today most likely will not be nearly as available to talk or whatever. I may speak with you again today or I may not, but just in case I don't, I have one final thing to say: It was enjoyable meeting and talking with you this week! Once again, good to have you back at Adventures in Odyssey Wiki! MarvelousMarvin 14:45, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- As obvious as it seems when you lay it out, it had never occurred to me that Odyssey time would have to be noticeably different due to hiatuses! Your timeline makes a lot of sense, and I see no reason not to reorganize episodes -- often the order was changed in the transition from air date to albums anyway! What you've worked out is very impressive; you've certainly done a good job of working it through, and I appreciate your explanation. I too will likely be more busy in the future, but I have enjoyed this conversation, and it's been very nice to meet you! Rachel Maxwell 15:11, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

College?
How do you know the schedule two months in advance?
Hi MarvelousMarvin:
The headline is my question, basically. I am curious to know, whether you call up FotF and ask them about the schedule, or whether they publish it somewhere, from where you pick it up. Also, for some reason, the schedule on AiOWiki is more accurate than that on www.whitsend.org/radio. For example, there they have The Top Floor II for Monday, when The Top Floor I will not yet have been broadcast.
Pax Christi tecum, --DominikHoffmann 14:03, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well, Dominik, I have never recieved the schedual myself, but I am pretty sure I know how to get it. I think the websites that get the schedual (mainly AIOWiki and the Odyssey Scoop) are emailed the schedual by someone at FOTF (possibly Brock Eastman). If you want to get recieve the schedual yourself, I suggest emailing questions@whitsend.org and asking them if they could email it to you. Or ask Reddo where you can get it. He's the one that posts the schedual at AIOWiki. As for why the one on AIOWiki is better the the one a whitsend.org/radio: whitsend.org has always been a somewhat unkept website; there are many things about the webiste that don't work as they should. There's links to pages that don't exist, incomplete or incorrect information, and I even once saw that a passages audio preview was placed where there was supposed to be an audio preview for the Inspiration Station episodes. Nathan Hoobler (I am pretty sure he's the one who maintains the site) doesn't have enough time to devote to the site to make sure everything is working properly and to make the website all it could be. The fact that AIOWiki is a user edited website coupled with the fact that we've got three administrators who know a lot about computer and webiste coding means that this webiste is often more accurate than whitsend.org, which again, has always had its problems. Does that answer your question? MarvelousMarvin 14:29, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- A person who works for FOTF emails it out to us (someone who is not Brock) I'm sure that if you would ask you could get on the list but there's not really a point as it's posted on the wiki and scoop the same day that it's emailed out. as for why the official site isn't always accurate it's just a matter of FOTF not having enough people to keep everything running properly Reddo 16:08, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
52 cover
just curious, where did you get this image Reddo 05:05, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Nathan and Brock gave it to a friend who went to visit focus. Brock signed it, "Secrets should be revealed." But I removed the autographs. I kept the image in check until now, but I thought that that now that you can pretty much see it any way, I'll go ahead and upload it. Boy, I hope the AIO team doesn't kill me. MarvelousMarvin 05:11, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- okay, thanks for the quick reply, it's just interesting as on that cover it looks like connie in the background, and I've been told that Connie will not be on the cover of 52, also that image has 0.2.0 in the name which i think could be the version number. The image that I've seen but have been told not to share has a number of 1a so it could just be an old version, none the less thanks for uploading to the wiki it's always interesting to see the way the cover changes from the original draft to final release Reddo 05:20, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, on second thought -- please delete my version of the file -- I don't want to spoil everyone's anticipation and suspense by being the one who leaked it. If the AIO team wanted people to see it they would have given it to the online user community. Yes, they did run that risk when they gave it to my friend, but I don't think they wanted it on the internet. It can be restored once the official art is out. MarvelousMarvin 05:22, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- okay, I respect your decision and I've deleted it and will restore it when the final cover is released, (which by the way should be soon, as in I was expecting it today soon) Reddo 05:39, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Cool! Thanks! MarvelousMarvin 05:43, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Sad I missed it :( I thought that it looked like Connie was in the first teaser, but then I couldn't really see her in the second one. So do we want to keep all of the teasers and everything up once it's all officially released? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 14:33, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- I don't see any reason to take them away Reddo 14:35, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, me neither. Though I was under the impression that if one administrator deleted something, any other administrator could still see it. MarvelousMarvin 15:16, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- depends what type of delete you do on it, the ordinary deletion all admins can still see, the suppression deletion that I used on your image deletes it so that even other admins can't see it I prefer the first type as it's easy to undo but sometimes the second type is needed Reddo 15:24, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- How come I can still see it at Special:RevisionDelete? Erwin Springer [talk] 15:39, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

Eugene Sings! Christmas
Hi, Rachel. Thanks for doing the the lyrics to all the songs in Eugene Sings! Christmas. I was wondering if you are just typing out the lyrics that are in the insert of the pamphlet, or if you're typing out what's in the songs? Because on some of the songs, they are different. MarvelousMarvin 14:03, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Marv, I've lost my booklet that came with the CD, so I just typed out the songs -- so please feel free to fix anything you notice that's wrong (at the very least I'm sure I miscounted a 'fa la la la la la la la'). Also making the parts he sings longer (Like Doooooooooona Noooooobis Paaaacem) longer rather than just putting "Dona Nobis Pacem" could be considered (by myself especially) to be a lousy idea, it just seemed to make it look more like it sounded. Which, again, may be a very lousy idea. Rachel Maxwell 14:20, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Well, than that's good that you were typing out the exact lyrics to the songs! I, like yourself, do think that it looks a little rediculous to have "Dooooooooooona Noooooooobis Paaaaaaacem" exagerated so much. I don't think it's necessary to make it that exact to how it sounds. The listeners can figure it out. But nice work! MarvelousMarvin 16:00, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! I'm changing the lyrics now -- if you have the booklet btw, I'd appreciate it if you could look at "Jingle Jangle Jungle" and "The Fa-la-la Cha-cha-cha", there's a word or two in there I couldn't understand in the song, it's in the lyrics as {unintelligible}. Rachel Maxwell 15:10, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Done. I added a few other minor words and rearranged the lyrics a little bit on The Fa-la-la Cha-cha-cha. I thought it made a little bit more sense that way. The uninteligable word for "The Fa-la-la Cha-cha-cha" was "terpsichoreal" which has something to do with dancing or something like that. For Jingle Jangle Jungle the booklet didn't have the all the lyrics in the song (surprise), so I had to listen closely to it and then look up a couple of different words in the dictionary to see if they had the right meaning. I settled on "toffees" which is the plural of "toffee" which is "a hard, chewy candy; taffy. [a varient of taffy]". MarvelousMarvin 15:41, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Fa-la-la looks great! Jangle Jungle does sound kinda like toffees, though that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But it's better than what I could think of, so it's fine with me. Anyways, great job, and thank you so much! Rachel Maxwell 15:51, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- No problem! I noticed you changed "terpsichoreal" to "terpsichorean". That definition does makes sense considering as I couldn't find "terpsichoreal" in the dictionary anywhere. But I looked in the pamphlet and it does indeed say "terpsichoreal" and upon listening to it I am pretty sure that that's what he is saying too. But if you want to leave it as "terpsichorean", that's fine too. :) MarvelousMarvin 16:00, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- You're right, he's saying "terpsichoreal", but when I looked it up, "terpsichorean" was the only word with a definition! Since that's what he's saying though, you can change it back if you want. Thanks for your help with this! Rachel Maxwell 16:03, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, for "Jingle Jangle Jungle" the unintelligible word might be "topes" which does have related words in the dictionary, but I could not find that word specifically. It has something to do with drinking which does make more sense to the song. I was unsure whether it was the word though, because it wasn’t in the dictionary. Any thoughts? MarvelousMarvin 17:15, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- "Topes" does make more sense in context, but I don't think AIO would put out a song instructing people to get drunk! :) Maybe it's one word? Maybe it's not "soul with something", maybe it's "sodelsomething" or something? Rachel Maxwell 20:11, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

- Well, there is no such word as sodel or any extention of it in the dictionary that I see. So it couldn't be that. You do have a good point that AIO probably would not put out a song that tells people to do get drunk. But Will Ryan probably wouldn't have problem with it. The song doesn't overtly say that you should get drunk. It just kind of alludes to that. It's possible that it's one word, but I can't figure out what that word would be. For now, I think that it is either "topes" of "toffees" (candy can get you in a merry mood too! :) MarvelousMarvin 17:47, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- here's a word "sodality" which is people engaged in a particular occupation. And "Tokay", which is a wine. And "Toque" which is a hat. None of these seem to quite fit either, we may actually have to ask. :D I'd be fine with "toffees" except it sounds so much like he's saying tokey, I'm sure I hear a 'k' in there, but I could be wrong. Rachel Maxwell 03:37, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- I didn't think it sonded like theere was a "k" in there, but there might be. Why don't you go ahead and ask? (Though your question may not get answered, considering as it's not a very big issue :) MarvelousMarvin 19:06, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Regarding revert
Why'd you erase it all? I was listening and I know what was going on... Caiaphas did have his ear cut off... and healed by Jesus... htm14 (Talk) 02:05, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Because, my good man, Caiaphas was not a temple guard. Temple guards were under the instruction of Esras, who was under the instruction of the High Priest. According to the Bible, Caiaphas was the High Priest, and I know that he did NOT have a change of heart. He went into the prosecution and said that Jesus was a "blasphemer". From what I understand, the name of the temple guard was Malcus, according to the episode. MarvelousMarvin 04:04, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- If I may butt in, I think Htm14 merely got Caiaphus and Malchus confused. Fairly easy to do, especially if you're doing edits while listening, since Phil Proctor played both of them (as far as I can tell).Rachel Maxwell 04:31, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Rachel, I think you're right. Sorry if I came across too harsh and overbearing. :( MarvelousMarvin 06:13, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Project
Hey, Wooton. I saw your comment in the ToO thread about AIOWiki's 100,000 edits. Don't feel bad if you feel like you can't find anything to edit. It happens to all of the editors, I'm sure. But you know what the beauty of your indespensible work is? You can complete a large amount of work in a small amount of time. So I wouldn't worry about not having enough time when school starts to continue doing what you've been doing. Thanks for all your help! MarvelousMarvin 03:44, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
P.S. If you want something to do, here's a project: On the covers of the audio series albums, each album is referred to as "Volume", instead of "Album". Redirect pages need to be created for each of the albums. I.e. for albums 1, the redirect pages "Volume 1" and "Volume 1: The Adventure Begins" need to be created and redirected to "Album 1: The Adventure Begins". I've already done this with albums 45 through 53, so if you want to go ahead and finish the project, feel free to do so.
- I just might take you up on that but I have on question, should it be Volume 1 or Volume 01?
- P.S. Are you Marvin D. on the ToO?
- Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 03:48, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- I would say probably do both. No, I'm not Marvin D. Since he is a pretty well known fellow over there at he ToO, I should probably change my username so that I don't confuse people, but I just haven't gotten around to it. MarvelousMarvin 03:58, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, also I have a suggestion. I made some spelling corrections on your user page but I also reworded it but haven't posted it yet. See what you think. Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 22:13, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for doing that, Wooton! You can go ahead and post it to my user page if you want. I should probably come up with something totally new to say on that page, but I don't have the time or the inclination. So for now, since that content will be stuck there for a while, thanks for fixing the page. MarvelousMarvin 02:00, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Pendragon
I saw on American Eagle's page that you like Pendragon. Well, just though I'd point out that in http://whitsendblog.org/2010/04/new-video-podcast-contest-winner-revealed/ the poster behind "Connie" is the Pendragon movie poster and someone in the court room has on a Pendragon shirt! --Aria 12:35, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah! I noticed that! I am glad that somebody else noticed as well! So, how do you hear about the movie? Have you seen it? If so, what did you think? MarvelousMarvin 21:50, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I first heard about it on American Eagle's talk page. So I looked it up (I always love a good movie!) and read about it. I'm going to see if our library has it. Hope so! It sounded fun! --Aria 05:34, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
A Few Things re
Thanks Marvin, for the information. But the only thing I understand is "In the summary of episode pages, every character, place, and thing that is mentioned that has its own page needs to be linked to, regardless of whether they are linked to other places on the episode page." Do you mean if a plot has 10 mentions of Connie, each one has to be linked? A while ago, Rachel Maxwell put a message on my page and in it said, "linking up the right stuff and deleting the repetitive links -- it really makes the wiki look clean". So I thought I was on the right track. But thanks for pointing those things out. I'll try to remember them! :-) Proverbs 31:30Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. ~ Aria ~ (talk)
- Thanks Marvin, again. But let me get this straight. For example, this sentence: Connie's first episode was #4: “Connie Comes to Town”, would use the quotation marks, right? But what template would you use without the " " but still with the number? I tried and it came up with: A Rathbone of Contention Proverbs 31:30Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. ~ Aria ~ (talk) 14:22, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi
You have been around here since 2009, right? (I read all the past town hall archives), anyway thank you for adding the Push the Red Button (Live), before The Perfect Church, and nice job with the write ups for the actors and characters, (I've been around here since May 2012) Skylerbuck (pastors kid+Canadian) (talk) 15:48, 2 February 2013 (MST)
Questions
If Nathan Hoobler was a stage director in Push the Red Button (Live), then why did you take him off? I have another question, Push the Red Button (Live) was only recorded in June, the public couldn't download it until November, or June if you buy the Actor's Picks, so shouldn't it be after Push the Red Button? Were you at the live show in June?, or November? Anyways, all for now Skylerbuck (talk) 15:55, 2 March 2013 (MST)
- I removed Nathan Hoobler from the director slot because the director and stage director aren't technically the same thing. The stage director merely sits in front of the stage and cues the actors on when to say the lines and stuff. This is a little different from the director's job of giving artistic pointers and feedback for the actors. Perhaps we should create another position in the infobox template for the stage director
- Whenever Jason appears in "Push the Red Button (Live)," he is asking, "Can I come back to Odyssey/the show now?" He comes back to Odyssey in "Home Again." It didn't make sense for him to be asking "Can I come back to the show now?" after he had already come back. Perhaps we could place the live episode in between The Bible Network and Happy Hunting (it was made available for download between these episodes being aired.)
- I was indeed at the live show in June, but not in November. It was a blast. Thanks for your questions. Since you are around here more and in the loop with things, I'll defer to whatever decisions you make about the above issues. MarvelousMarvin (talk) 14:31, 5 March 2013 (MST)
- Cool I live in Canada, so too far for me..Ok I get it, although ya Jason did say that but its ok between Album 55, and 56, I was just confused. Skylerbuck (talk) 20:48, 5 March 2013 (MST)
