Do we have to citate information? Now that I've had a glimpse of what citations are, I KNOW that I don't like them. I really, really, really do NOT want Adventures in Odyssey Wiki to become a place where every other word has a number beside it. And then if we do cite pages, at the bottom of the page, there is a list of 25plus references that make the page look more like the drawer of a file cabinet than an actual article. BESIDES, do you really think ANYONE actually visits all those references to see if the information is true?!?!?!!!!!! I doubt it!!!!! This is a website, for teenagers and kids! Nobody's doing research on the information on this website. Can we PLEASE abandon this idea of citing information!!!! Please. MarvelousMarvin 04:09, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- I would say no. You do not "have" to cite information, but if we're quoting a website, we're claiming it as our own... unless we cite. We shouldn't simply "abandon" this idea. It has lots of potential. Don't feel obligated to cite, but we should have it available. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 05:21, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- I think citing is more for pages like the 2010 Season where people may not know (and want to know) where certian spoilers came from. Erwin Springer [talk] 19:53, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
