Um...why do we need this page? Can't we just link to wikipedia? Erwin Springer [talk] 14:41, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know, if that's what we want to do, I don't have a problem with that. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 14:56, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- Problem #1: There is no link to wikipedia. Problem #2: If you go to this page to find out information about the Jubilee Singers singing group, it is a hassel to have to click on another link to another web site to read the information you want. The less clicks and links you have to go through on a web site, the better. Problem #3: The more information there is on AIOWiki, the better the site is. Problem #4 (actually more like a comment): There is no problem with having that information on this website. Is there? If there is tell me. MarvelousMarvin 01:07, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

- I agree with the Erwin Springer. It's not that big of a hassle to click on another link. I'm not sure what you mean by "There is no link to wikipedia" as we can easily link to wikipedia. Plus, this is an AIO wikipedia. We probably shouldn't have articles that are barely related to AIO (or in this case, just an episode). If people really want to know the in depth story of them, they can listen to the episode or look at the article on wikipedia. We don't need it here, in my opinion. AIOCREFan 01:45, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- The main reason I don't support having this content here is that we're an AIO site. Anything that doesn't involve AIO shouldn't really be here. I understand that the "Jubilee Singers" were the subject of the recent episodes, but we only need to provide information about said episodes. If we had pages on information about subjects in other AIO episodes then we would have articles like "The Underground Railroad", "The Revolutionary War", "The Wizard of Oz" and so on. I was orginally confused why LCD info belongs here, but once I saw how it relates to AIO, I was fine with it. However, the "Jubilee Singers" in general aren't part of an resource. The content can be restored if more people think it is appropriate here, but I don't think it is. (Also, if we come to consensus about this issue perhaps we should add a policy page so it is clear what kind of articles we want on AIOWiki and what kind we don't.) - But, the subject of the Jubilee Singers does involve AIO. And not only is AIOWiki an AIO Website, it is an exhaustive AIO Website. Meaning that anything and everything involving AIO is welcome. So, I think it would be awesome if AIOWiki had articles about the various subjects you mentioned that were portrayed in AIO episodes. Besides, I think that reading an article like that would be much easier to do on the AIOWiki rather than Wikipedia because Wikipedia is a very confusing site in their language and organization. All of the reasons I mentioned above (except for #4) still stand. That's my opinion. MarvelousMarvin 19:44, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

I still don't understand "Problem #1". "Problem #2"-it is not a hassle. The only way I can see it remotely being a hassle is with a dial-up internet connection. I agree with "Problem #3" except that this information is not necessary, as this is an AIOWiki. We (again, in my opinion) do not need articles that are distantly related to AIO or its episodes.
