Talk:Connie Kendall
Connie Kendall's page has the outdated form of the listed episodes.I can't fix it, so I am pointing it out to someone else. MarvelousMarvin 19:16, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- It may have been the sort key for the first one of them, is what you saw fixed? Erwin Springer [talk] 22:06, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- No, it isn't fixed. There's a link in the episode section that obviously does not link to an episode. And I'm guessing that the reason the episodes with Katie Leigh aren't listed with the template is because there are too many of them. Is that correct? MarvelousMarvin 22:59, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- The rest should correct but that link is for a short with Connie, not an episode, I put a a temp fix Erwin Springer [talk] 23:10, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

quotes
does the article on her quotes need to have some many quotes since there is already a page on her quotes? couldn't the article just say "see List of quotes by Connie Kendall"? --Aria 12:34, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- I totally agree. I would say go ahead and remove the quotes from Connie's page. MarvelousMarvin 12:10, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Aging?
There really needs to be a page about how fast people age in Odyssey, as how fast Mr.Whittaker and Ms Kendall age compared to how fast the various kids grow up doesn't seem to match. The kids have all grown up Eugene even seems to age faster Connie and Whit Connie and Mr.whittaker seem to be trapped in time.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.184.25.20 (talk • contribs)
- In an interview with Marshall Younger or Paul Mccusker, I don't remember which one, he said that a year in our time is about 2.8 years in Connie's time. The reason for why Jimmy, Lucy, Donna, and other characters in that time frame are gone is because the actors' voices change and they don't sound as young as they did. A page would be a good idea!Ikwid (talk) 10:19, 1 August 2018 (MDT)
- I agree it might be easier to differentiate, but we don't know exactly how fast everyone ages. If we did it would take a bit of work, but we can probably do it. - Especially since we have no real idea which episodes happen when - we assume that they happen chronologically as episodes air but that doesn't always have to be the case. By the same token, two episodes could occur at the same time. There's no reason #230: “Our Father” and #231: “Hallowed Be Thy Name” couldn't occur on the exact same day, for example. Originally time in Odyssey passed pretty strictly in "real time" - they would refer to events in a past season as "last summer" and "a couple of summers ago". When it became obvious that the characters didn't need to age that quickly the in-verse time references dropped dramatically. That being said certain characters have been established to have been at least a certain age at a certain time - Whit was in the Navy in WWII (specifically, Guadalcanal which was 1942-1943). The youngest American in WWII was 15 so Whit had to be at least 15 in 1943, at the most youthful estimation possible. This would make him born in 1928. So even if we tried to work up some sort of table saying how many years to a Whit-year, we have to factor in that technology in Odyssey progresses roughly as quickly as ours does - characters use text messaging, email, etc. So it's not feasible that Odyssey is stuck in 2002, Whit just has to be getting really old. :)

- umm. . . I guess. Wow! (P.S.; Have you ever thought of making an OT Theory?) ConnieKendall fan talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 21:45, 2 August 2018 (MDT)
- It's not a theory as much as an observation - I love a good fan theory but I don't come up with many. Except that Richard Maxwell and Robert Mitchell are step-brothers, I stand by that one. Rachel Maxwell (talk) 08:18, 3 August 2018 (MDT)
- That's kinda funny(the theory is). I have my own OT Theory by the way. Inspired by Scientific Guy's theory. ConnieKendall fan talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 22:39, 3 August 2018 (MDT)
