History
Richard's only appearance is in A Class Act in which it is established that he's very wealthy. He anonymously offers Edwin Blackgaard a generous donation on the condition that Edwin offers an open class on acting. Over the course of the episode Edwin figures out that Richard wrote the anonymous notes in order to get his daughter Shannon Everett (Ellis) a staring show. However, after the show Richard is angry at Edwin because of the fact Shannon humiliated herself onstage. He's so angry he refuses to pay Edwin the money he promised.
