#96: “The Reluctant Rival” (1989)
History
Mrs. Underwood appeared in the episode The Reluctant Rival. She was upset when she heard while making dinner that her daughter Sandra Underwood had been passed up for a solo role in an upcoming concert for Jenny Whittaker-Dowd. Both of them believed that the choir director Dan Bryant was playing favorites cause Jenny was Whit's daughter. Her complaint resulted in an audition where she overly praised her daughter's performance. It was partially her reaction that prompted Jenny to intentionally bomb her audition and give the solo to Sandra.
Family
Mrs. Underwood is Sandra Underwood's mother.
