Molly is the sassy 11-year-old granddaughter of Detective Don Polehaus. She lives with her mom, and is still working through the loss of her father, who died of cancer three years ago. She and her dad used to have lots of fun playing video games and going on treasure hunts. Her best friend is a social media-conscious girl named Allison. While not raised in a Christian family, Molly has a sense of right and wrong that usually kicks in after some frustration and manipulation. She is a bit disobedient, but in the end learns her lesson.
