Description

Julianna Rydell was the wife of Raymond Rydell, biological mother of Morrie Rydell and the adopted mother of Suzu Rydell. She also knew Whit. Sometime before the move of the Rydell children and Mrs. Mado to Odyssey, Julianna "got sick" and eventually passed away from the disease. Her death affected everyone in the family as Raymond buried himself in his work as a diplomat and Morrie started getting into trouble. Raymond eventually made the decision to move Mrs. Mado, Morrie, and Suzu to Odyssey where Whit would be able to watch them.
