History

Heather Shapely was a Hollywood actress who was hired to play the role of Connie Kendall in the A Day in the Life movie based on Mr. Whittaker's short story. She was directed to play the role as a stereotypical clueless blonde. Though her character and role were left on the cutting room floor, it was later revealed in the episode Extended Cut that word of her performance got around and she lost all credibility as a serious actor. She left acting for a while to go back to school and pursue her doctorate. She later made a return to acting as a successful Emblem Channel star.

She attended the Odyssey A Day in the Life Fan convention as a celebrity guest.
