Harry Parsons
Harry Parsons is one of 804 characters who have appeared in fewer than six episodes. Not much information may be available about him or her. |
Personality
Harry was originally from New York, where he performed Vaudeville. Harry was the clown of the 82nd Division, the "All American Division". Initially when he arrived in France, he was ready to fight. He also seemed to have some knowledge of German and war machines as he referred to a motor in German. Apparently he wasn't a good shot, going through a pile of bullets during one battle.
History
Harry Parsons was one of three men who became close in basic training, along with Robert Kosinsky, Alvin York and Murray (d) Savage. During basic training he joked that if the practice target had been a tin duck he probably could have hit it as he'd hit one at a county fair back in New York. While being pinned down by a sniper in France, Harry didn't feel good in a trench, but changed his mind later. He and Alvin eventually became Corporals together in the same platoon together. They were also the only members of the four men who made it through World War I alive.
Family
Any family he has is unknown.
