History

Everett was born in Africa while his parents were in captivity. When he was two years old he was hurt badly in a fall at his fathers dig site in Africa. He was taken to a hospital where his parents were told he died. He is left with a scar of some kind on his back. Later Leonard found out that Everett was really kidnapped by Dalton Kearn, because he thought that Everett should have been his son because Leonard's wife, Thelma, used to be his girlfriend.

He was later rescued by his father, Leonard Meltsner with the help of Whit, Jason, Eugene, and Katrina. When Leonard went with Evan Antero to serve as a missionary to the Ashanti tribe, Everett went with them.

In the canon Elsewhere in Odyssey comic series, Leonard and Everett reunited with Eugene and his family over the Christmas holiday so they could meet Eugene and Katrina's new adopted son, Buck.

Family

His parents are Leonard and Thelma Meltsner, he has an older brother Eugene, and a sister-in-law, Katrina Shanks-Meltsner. His adoptive nephew (who is actually older than him) is Buck Meltsner. His deceased grandfather was Garvey Hiram Meltsner. Everett grew up believing that Dalton Kearn was his real father.
