All's Well With Boswell
Luke 16:10-12
11So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
12And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?“All's Well With Boswell” is episode #125 of the Adventures in Odyssey audio series. It was written and directed by Phil Lollar, and originally aired on August 25, 1990.
Summary
Robyn Jacobs tries to 'babysit' a cat named Boswell, but goes on all sorts of adventures when the cat escapes.
Plot
Robyn Jacobs has gotten her first baby-sitting job-only, instead of a baby, she's sitting with Mrs. Fishbine's cat. Boswell is a huge feline, and Mrs. Fishbine thinks the world of him. However, she is a stern parent: Robyn must make certain that Boswell eats three solid meals during the day. Boswell also can't go outside (because he's recovering from a cold), and he must stay off the furniture. Robyn agrees to make Boswell behave, and Mrs. Fishbine leaves.
Almost immediately, the trouble starts. As Robyn prepares Boswell's breakfast in the kitchen, Boswell knocks over and breaks a small glass ballerina in the living room. Robyn realizes that she can replace the figurine with a duplicate from Greenblatt’s Department Store. She phones Jessie and tells her to pick up the figurine and bring it to Mrs. Fishbine's house.
Jessie does, and that's when the trouble really begins. Thanks to a series of circumstances, Boswell ends up outside, Robyn and Jessie chase after him, and they all end up in a locked furniture van on its way to Connellsville!
Eventually, Robyn and Jessie get out of the van in Connellsville and see Tom Riley, who is delivering a load of apples. They sneak into the back of his truck and make it back to Odyssey and Mrs. Fishbine's house just in the nick of time. But Boswell gets in the last word as he knocks the new glass ballerina from the mantle. Mrs. Fishbine reprimands her cat for breaking it again. We can guess that Robyn will never cat-sit again.

Notes
- Trivia
- Bob Luttrell recounts that he recorded the sound for the cat food spilling by actually dumping a complete bag of cat food all over his kitchen floor. He also brought a neighborhood cat into his studio for hours to get the right "meows" for Boswell.
- This episode's title is based on a popular phrase originally coined by Shakespeare in the title of his play "All's Well That Ends Well."
- Chris's opening mention of Robyn having in the past is most likely a reference to Robyn's mowing business in #81: “Good Business”.
- Some of Roger and Sylvia's scene from the TV show Robyn and Jessie watch and discuss would be heard again partially during #153: “Mayor for a Day”.
- Walker Edmiston uses the voice he used to voice match for Henry Fonda to portray Ringo in this episode.
- This episode is included in the DVD for "A Fine Feathered Frenzy".
- Goofs
- At the end of the episode, Robyn and Jessie are scolding themselves for leaving the door open, but this does not make sense. As they are leaving earlier in the episode, there is a distinct sound effect of them closing the back door.

Jessie Morales: Connellsville Furniture. How interesting.
Robyn Jacobs: Why?
Jessie Morales: I dunno, I just thought it was interesting. That's all.
