George and the Odyssey Times

I don't think George Barclay working with Hal Cunningham is as much a part of the problem as this article suggests. George might have been an occasional contributor to the Times; it's not uncommon for a writer to have a supplemental job. It would certainly explain why, after George was laid off, the Times was one of the first places he looked for a new job: one of his best hopes would be an expanded role in the paper's production. 173.233.33.218 02:05, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
