Did AIO Give These...

... Episodes Parental Warnings or just AIOwiki? Episodes: Gone..., Blackgaard's Revenge, The Unraveling, The Black Veil, Part 1 (and part 2), Nothing to Fear, The Case of the Secret Room, The Twilife Zone, The American Revelation, Part 1 and two, and The Mortal Coil, Part 1 and two?

The Unraveling, The Black Veil, Blackgaard's Revenge, and The American Revelation had them; The Mortal Coil and The Case of the Secret Room didn't. Beyond that, I don't know. TigerShadow (talk) 13:31, 7 July 2014 (MDT)

Thanks. i didn't hear all those episodes. I'm glad i have other AIO fans to help me with this page.- User:iloveeugene 5:29, 7 July 2014 (EST) Oh, and does anybody know if Karen actually has one?- User:iloveeugene 5:00, 9 July 2014 (EST)

It had a form of one. It wasn't like the ones we know now, where whoever the executive producer is at the time (e.g. Al Jansen for Blackgaard's Revenge, Paul McCusker for The Black Veil, or Marshal Younger for The American Revelation) comes on and introduces the episode and talks about how its intensity warrants a parental warning. Instead, Chris reads Psalm 23 and then tells the listener that the seriousness of the subject matter means that parents should listen to it with their kids. TigerShadow (talk) 15:18, 9 July 2014 (MDT)

OK. I'll put it on, because Castles and Cauldrons, II had that too, i believe I love eugene (talk) 20:08, 10 July 2014 (MDT)

How bout' The Perfect Witness, Part 1 through 3? it's in album 23, twists and turns! according to AIOwiki (not that i trust it about it) it has a parental warning. I love eugene (talk) 13:48, 26 July 2014 (MDT)

Have We Gotten Through a lot?

Because The Last Time we added a episodes was 11 Days ago! (I'm not totally sure, so don't get mad if i'm wrong, i won't say this on the page, but i think Nothing to Fear has one. And according to AIOwiki, some episodes in Album 58 will have PW's for thematic issues. (Maybe OAC members know if any of the first 7 Have them.) Post as soon as you know another episode with a Parental warning! I love eugene (talk) 09:18, 25 July 2014 (MDT)

Sergeant York?

I Heard that episode- it only has a parental warning on AIOwiki- that doesn't count. :( I love eugene (talk) 16:53, 25 July 2014 (MDT)

No, there's actually a parental warning from Dave Arnold at the beginning. DavidHilder (talk) 18:02, 25 July 2014 (MDT)

It was my sister who heard this. She doesn't remember hearing a PW, but she heard it when it first aired on April 7, 2012, she says she could have, though. I love eugene (talk) 14:05, 26 July 2014 (MDT)

I own these episodes, so I double-checked and there is a parental warning from executive producer Dave Arnold talking about the "dramatic renderings of a couple of battles" which may be too intense for younger listeners. DavidHilder (talk) 14:17, 26 July 2014 (MDT)

Nothing To Fear

according to The Official Guide, (i downloaded the free pages) Nothing to Fear has a parental warning. i don't want to go against it, so I'm adding nothing to fear to the list. take it off if you don't think it does, but don't blame me because it was from The Official Guide. oh, and by the way, most collections don't put parental warnings in their episodes, for instance the blackgaard chronicles (which i borrowed from the library) doesn't put any parental warnings, neither does Our Favorites. (A name, not a number) I love eugene (talk) 18:14, 28 July 2014 (MDT)

I found when i was adding nothing to fear, that they said there were scary scenes. i thought there's Nothing to Fear! Shirley got through it! why can't we? I love eugene (talk) 18:17, 28 July 2014 (MDT)

Coming of Age

I know the radio version does not have a parental warning, does it have one in the album? I love eugene (talk) 13:36, 1 July 2015 (MDT)

None of these

First Love, Train Ride, Coming of Age.

I still remember vividly when Train Ride aired, July 17, 2004, as part of the Summer of Mystery. It definitely did have a parental warning. Aiow 21:27, 20 October 2015 (MDT)

OK, I heard it later and it didn't. I know for a fact the other two. Did "Hold Up!" really have one? I heard a later airing of that as well. I love eugene (talk) 18:51, 23 October 2015 (MDT)

I cant say for sure, but I think it did. I also would not be surprised if fotf removed some of the warnings, violence is much more "normal" now then when those episodes were first aired. Aiow 20:44, 27 October 2015 (MDT)
Ok, I also heard Waylaid in the Windy City, Part 1 and have no idea why it would have a parental warning because the first episode had no violence at all (similar to Telemachus, Part 1) and the next episode only had a fake water gun and no shots (similar to Treasure Hunt). The Launch

I added #740: “The Launch, Part 2”. It has a warning, but part 1 does not. AIOrocks101 (talk) 12:24, 6 November 2015 (MST)

Thanks AIOrocks! I was kind of suprised that it did, but I guess it makes perfect sense, and I know part 1 didn't have a parental warning. Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link) (talk) 16:54, 6 November 2015 (MST)

Should we...

Can we create a Category for this? Or a template to put on pages? Or both?

This episode has a parental warning and is not recommended for young listeners.

Here's what it would look like.

We should not add this warning to pages, it would get annoying. It's always been in the notes and that's where it should stay. AIOrocks101 (talk) 11:39, 17 November 2015 (MST)
Haha! It's in the intros now! Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 13:32, 24 June 2016 (MDT)
