I put the picture of Robert Mitchell on the AREM article because it is basically Mitch. Stop Wooton Around 23:42, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
AREM v.s. Robert Mitchell
If AREM and Robert Mitchell are one and the same, why do they have separate articles? All the details about Mitchell's work as AREM can be added to his page, and both the AREM and Mitchell appearances can be counted as Mitchell appearances. Cartoon Nostalgia 10:00, 11 December 2018 (MST)
- AREM is not the same as Mitch. AREM was used by Bennett Charles in #524 – #525: “Here Today, Gone Tomorrow?”. The AREM article only applies to AREM as he appears as a computer entity, which can include both Mitch and Bennett Charles. Also, AREM is voiced by Bob Luttrell, not Steve Burns. - Yes, but AREM's voice is the voice of the user run through a voice-changing computer program (#496: “Exceptional Circumstances”). Honestly, this is a bit of a unique situation- I think characters have significantly changed their voices while pretending to be someone else before (Jason as The Stiletto, for instance), but they've never been voiced by a different voice actor while doing so so far as I can remember. My problem with recognizing AREM as a character is that, as you said, he's a computer entity controlled by both Mitch and Charles at different points, meaning that AREM as a character is basically Mitch or Charles' words read in a different voice. I'm not sure how to solve this problem, but you make valid points so I'm fine with keeping it as it is for the time being. Cartoon Nostalgia 09:19, 13 December 2018 (MST)
