Gadgets

Below is a list of special gadgets users can enable on their preferences page, as defined by the definitions. This overview provides easy access to the system message pages that define each gadget's description and code.

Editing gadgets    [View description]

• Purge Tab: Adds a purge tab to the top of each page  (View description | Export)

• Previous Diff: adds a tab to the top of each tab to compare the current edit with the last one.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-diff.js
• Edit top: Adds an edit section to the lead section.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-edittop.js
• Navigation popups: article previews and editing functions popup when hovering over links.  (View description | Export)

• Family Tree: Used for to make family trees easier to edit. To use, edit a family tree page and then look for 'Templates -> Art' in the left hand tool box. (Experimental.)  (View description | Export)

• Mabel: An assistant that will fill in the correct template when making new category and cat rating pages and auto save the page, works for most but not all pages  (View description | Export)

• Scrolling Sidebar: Makes the sidebar scroll down the page as you’re reading.  (View description | Export)
