History

Mr. Smith was a diabetic man who took refuge at Whit's End during a storm along with Mr. Burnbaum. Connie, Eugene and Dylan all erroneously assumed that Smith was murdered by Burnbaum, when in reality Burnbaum was attempting to save Smith and later traveled out to find him help. Smith was eventually brought back to health when authorities and medics arrived to give him his insulin shot, thanks to a tip from his wife.
