History

After Darien drove the Palatians away from the town of Kellen, the mayor held a big feast for Darien and his soldiers, celebrating the victory. Anna knew about the mayor what Darien did not: that the Mayor of Kellen was a spy for Lawrence, king of Marus, who was trying to have Darien killed. Fortunately, Anna persuaded Darien to leave the town of Kellen before the king was able to show up and kill him.
