Whit's Invention | 49 | The intro has Whit working on a new invention. Most of the time, it doesn't work, but rarely it does. Very common in early episodes. |
Object Lesson | 15 | Chris speaks as an introduction, and then a mini-scene plays, not containing Odyssey characters. Extremely common in early episodes. |
Prologue | 72 | A scene plays before all of the intro is finished. Intermittent. |
Recap | 141 | Scenes are played from previous episodes. Common in multi-part episodes. |
Story | 15 | Chris talks about something, and she concludes her discussion in the wraps. Extremely common in early episodes. |
Parental Warning | 34 | The executive producer notes that content in the episode may not be suitable for younger listeners. Normally, the executive producer announces the parental warning, but Focus on the Family president Jim Daly narrated the one for “The Mysterious Stranger, Parts 1-2”.
