Emily "Emmy" Allen (neé Capello) was Jack Allen's pen-pal during his college years. Eventually she married him. She died after suffering from a debilitating stroke.

Emily married Jack, despite their faith differences.

Jack told Emily the parable of the harvesters on her deathbed, hoping she might become a Christian, but we will never truly know (#353: “A Question About Tasha”).
