History

David Brett Hornsby is a naïve, fictional boy of approximately 11 years old on a "Rescue 119" Kids' Radio sketch. On June 4th, 1994, he is confronted by the LOVE people (a cult trying to convert him) while eating dinner. He is a very polite young man, and at first accepts Candy Jakes and Katherine, and even agrees to join the cult. Once he begins to take the vows, he realizes that these people are not standing on Scripture. David calls 119, and gets the verse (with the aid of Elizabeth Darryl) that he needs to prove to Candy that bowing down to a statue of their founder (Edward Coolidge) is against the Bible.

Family

David has a father and mother, neither of whom are home at dinner time. It can be presumed that they give him an allowance of $1.00/week. David feels loved by his family.

Trivia

Though David has the same name as TV actor/writer/producer David Hornsby of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' fame, this character was named years before the actor reached any prominence.
