In #10: “Nothing to Fear”, Shirley and Jake discover an carnival clown in the Whit's End Basement. Coming up to the clown, Jake remarks, "looks like Whit was trying to build an electric clown; it's supposed to light up wave its arms and laugh." It's conceivable that the clown was created for Uncle Archie's Carnival, but there is no evidence of this connection.
