Description
Alfred Brownlee is a Middle Eastern archeologist. He was a friend of Whit's and helped him on some of his projects in the Middle East. Alfred seems to be a get-rich-quick kind of guy who will do anything to make a good deal on his finds.
However, apart from his involvement in #355: “The Search for Whit, Part 1” he has never really found anything valuable.
Alfred Brownlee found and sent some artifacts from Jerusalem, in an episode called “The Jesus Cloth”, that included a cloth that was thought to be a piece of the robe belonging to Jesus. It caused a lot of commotion in Odyssey. It was never confirmed that the cloth was really from Jesus' robe, because the only way to identify it was to do a test on it that required burning the entire small cloth. It was eventually sent back to the Israeli government to be put in a museum on public display.
