User Rights

Here on the Adventures in Odyssey Wiki, there are several user groups a user can belong to. Some usergroups are automatically given to a user, which are listed below.

Rights may differ from wiki to wiki; the following are the default rights for new wiki installations. For information on different user rights, see Special:ListGroupRights.

All users

All users, by default, even if they aren't logged in, can do the following:

• Create discussion pages
• Create new user accounts
• Create pages (which are not discussion pages)
• Edit pages
• Read pages
• Use of the write API

Users

Users that are logged in can then do all of the following, as well as the rights above.

• Bypass automatic blocks of tor exit nodes
• Mark edits as minor
• Move pages
• Move pages with their subpages
• Override files on the shared media repository locally
• Overwrite an existing file
• Purge the site cache for a page without confirmation
• Upload files

Autoconfirmed users

Users older than four days are automatically able to:

• Edit semi-protected pages
• Perform captcha triggering actions without having to go through the captcha
