Bennett Charles, frequently known as Mr. Charles, was a villainous employee of Andromeda initially known to the people of Odyssey as "the bald guy" who replaced Arthur Dent at Novacom and restructured Novacom's chain of command. In his capacity as Andromeda's head of security, he was also said to be known as "The Enforcer." He was the right hand man of "The Chairman" and loyal until the end.

During his incarceration after the end of the Novacom Saga, Charles's inmate ID number was 8346 and his duties included kitchen detail, laundry and garbage. It was during this time that he attempted to frame John Whittaker and Robert Mitchell with help from a prison guard, even managing to (briefly) escape and kidnap Mitch before being foiled again and re-incarcerated.
